Located at Folsom Street, South of Market in San Francisco, the Yerba Buena Gardens offers the best in public arts in the city. This lush green part of the city is surrounded by Museums on three sides. This includes the Museum of Craft and Folk Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Arts and Contemporary Jewish Museum. You can find the Martin Luther King Waterfall, the Samovar Tea Lounge and the Metreon Building.

The garden is located in the middle of the city and fulfills its purpose of providing a quiet escape to busy people of the San Francisco. It is spread in an area of five acres and contains many monuments and attractions for the visitors. The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial is located just behind the Martin Luther Waterfall, which happens to be the largest in West Coast area. There is also the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts which remain one of the primary attractions for the visitors. This place is dedicated entirely to modern art and focuses on local as well as international arts including visual and performing arts.

The place is great for children as they play at Zeum, a technology museum that lets children learn while they have fun with the multimedia and technology presented at the museum. Your kids can learn a lot about production of music and also get to know the basics of digital media. It also has a bowling alley and a rink for ice skating so that you can enjoy the visit to the core. There are also many shops and eateries in the garden and you can easily spend a day here with your whole family.
