Muir Woods National Monument is dominated by 380-foot high Redwood Trees, one of the few places where you can see these stunning trees in all of their Glory. From time to time, a beautiful sea mist drifts into the area which provides the trees with the moisture that they need ever so desperately. Once you are finished exploring the Muir Woods National Monument you can head to one of two sandy beaches located close by.
For those after a bit more an adventurous vacation then Muir Woods is the place to visit. The area is a popular hot spot for runners, cyclists and hikers with some of the most stunning scenery in the area at your disposal.
