There can be nothing better than finding a place where you can take your small kids and watch them scream in joy that doesn’t involve any silly gaming areas. We are talking about the Las Vegas Natural History Museum that is all set to blow the minds of parents, teachers, seniors, children and nature buffs alike. There are so many regular and temporary exhibits that you and your family would like to come here again and again. Clearly, one day is never enough to explore all that the museum has to offer.

Located at 900, Las Vegas Boulevard, you will be really happy to have come here. The museum is open all through the year except for Christmas and Thanksgiving Day. On regular days, it is open from 9 am to 4 pm while on Easter Day and New Year Day, it opens at 12 pm. The entry fee is $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens, students and military personnel. Children up to 11 years of age get a ticket for $5 while children below 2 years of age and the members of the museum get free entry.

You can reach this place easily by car. Cashman Center is also located very close by, so you would not have any problems in finding the museum. The permanent exhibits include the Dinosaur Mummy Exhibit, the Egyptian Treasure Exhibit, International Wildlife Gallery as well as the Las Vegas Founders’ Gallery. The temporary/travelling exhibits include the Sea Trek Exhibit that will take you in the undiscovered and unexplored world of the deep oceans.

The museum also hosts various events like the Sundown in Downtown Calypso party for the visitors. If you are visiting Las Vegas, then you must definitely find some time to visit this museum. The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is a complete package for children, adults and families. If you are a resident of Nevada, then you are blessed to have such a beautiful place in your vicinity.
