Cedar Point is a theme park that you must visit if you enjoy roller coasters, as it's one of the Top 10 amusement parks in the United States. Cedar Point is a 364 acre theme park located in Sandusky, Ohio. It is said to be the World's largest theme park and the world's best amusement park, and it receives visitors from all over the world.

This amusement park was created in the year 1870 and is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. It has the second most number of roller coasters in the world, with 16 altogether.

Cedar Point has it all - whether you are an adrenaline junkie, you are coming with your young children, you want to see the beach, enjoy live shows, eat delicious food or something else, you are sure to find something for you to enjoy

There are plenty of roller coasters.

There are several roller coasters for you to enjoy while you are visiting Cedar Point. The Millennium Force is a roller coaster at Cedar Point that has been voted several times as the best steel roller coaster in the whole entire world. On this roller coaster, you will drop 300 feet and reach a high speed of over 90 miles per hour.

There are also plenty of other great roller coasters such as:

If you are coming with children, then there are still plenty of things to do even if your little ones are not tall enough to ride all of the roller coasters. There are four fun kid's areas with rides, games, shows, and everything else for you and your family to enjoy.

If all of the above didn't make you want to go, there are plenty of other attractions for you to enjoy while at Cedar Point. These include:

  • World Famous Pink's Hot Dogs - These are a must if you are visiting the amusement park.
  • Soak City Water park - This is a fun water park so that you can escape the heat and have fun in the pool and water rides.
  • The beach - there is a beach located at Cedar Point so that you can enjoy the water and beachfront location.


How much does it cost to visit Cedar Point?

Single day adult tickets start at $49.99 if you buy your admission ticket online. Children's tickets begin at $34.99. If you wait to buy your admission at the park, adult prices are $59.99 and children's tickets are $34.99.

If you want a two day pass and to visit for both Cedar Point and Soak City, adult tickets start at $87.99 and children's admission starts at $52.99.

Fast Lane tickets begin at $60.00 and Fast Lane Plus tickets start at $80.00. These prices are on top of the admission ticket that you will need to buy in order to get into the amusement park. A Fast Lane ticket will give you a wristband that allows you to skip the regular line on more than 20 attractions such as the GateKeeper, the Raptor, the Millennium Force, and others. Upgrading to the Fast Lane Plus ticket wristband allows you to skip the lines of the same Fast Lane attractions plus the Maverick and Top Thrill Dragster rides.

You can also buy an all-day dining plan for $29.99.

How can I get to Cedar Point?

There are many ways to get to Cedar Point. If you are not from the area, you can take one of the many flights, trains or buses into the city each day. The Cleveland Hopkins International Airport serves many flights each day so you should have no problem finding a flight. Amtrak and Greyhound both serve the city as well.

Sandusky is also an easy city to drive to, and many families take road trips to get to Cedar Point each year as well.
